Common Error Messages

Understanding TaskRio error messages.

"Task not found"

Cause: Invalid task ID

Fix: Check task ID with list open

"Please @mention me in groups"

Cause: Forgot to @TaskRio in group

Fix: Start message with @TaskRio

"Invalid date format"

Cause: Unclear date expression

Fix: Use clear dates:

• "tomorrow"
• "next Monday"
• "December 15"

"Cannot parse task"

Cause: Message too vague

Fix: Be specific:
❌ "do thing"
✅ "Call client tomorrow 3pm"

"Not authorized"

Cause: Trying to edit someone else's task

Fix: Only task creator can edit (or admins in groups)

"Rate limit exceeded"

Cause: Too many messages in short time

Fix: Wait 1 minute, try again

"Group not found"

Cause: TaskRio not in group

Fix: Re-add TaskRio to group
